TomTom has expanded its partnership with citiEU, a transport modelling and planning specialist, to deliver traffic monitoring and location analytics solutions throughout Europe and the Middle East. Under the agreement, citiEU will draw on TomTom Traffic Analytics, live traffic feeds and map data for transport planning, traffic studies and emergency response services.

The scope of citiEU’s services spans customer and market analysis, network resilience, route optimisation and geospatial planning. The two companies have worked together since 2012, with citiEU also developing an Intelligent Mobility Hub portal that draws on TomTom real-time data to produce automated reports and traffic analyses.
