Toyota reportedly seeks to diversify EBIT from new car sales

Toyota is seeking to diversify its operating profit away from reliance on new car sales, according to a 7 September article by Nikkei. It claims the automaker hopes to increase the amount of EBIT derived from areas like software and vehicle services to JP¥3tr (US$19.2bn) by fiscal year 2030.
